Dr. Kamini K always has an astute judgement about the condition and measures to be taken. I had my first consultation with her early in the month of October 2025. I had an ACL tear, and had a lot of swelling. Before that, I had visited another hospital in which the doctor had suggested an immediate surgery. However, Dr. Kamini wanted to approach the situation with ethics. She recommended the surgery after the pain and swelling comes down and is moderate. She recommended effective exercises to bring my knee back to the original shape so that the surgery is smooth. She didn't want to rush towards the surgery. This made the post-surgery journey easier and I faced no complications. Even after the surgery, she was very straightforward with her judgement. In the first post-surgery consultation, I wasn't able to straighten the knee. So, she provided the best exercises and therapy to achieve hyperextension. We have been going to the Fracture and Orthopaedic Clinic for the last several years. We have been primarily consulting Dr Kamini Kurpad. She is a wonderful doctor. Her calmness and gentle manner puts the patient at ease. During consultation she listens to patient carefully with her full attention and focus. The emphasis is on correct clinical diagnosis through thorough examination and non-invasive treatment (rest, support, anti-inflammatories, cold and heat, simple exercises) with surgery as last resort. Dr Kamini makes us understand the problem and the prescribed treatment. Our children being physically very active have suffered through ligament strains, ankle issues etc, my wife with acute bursitis and I myself with occasional pain related to wear and tear on my knees. Dr Kamini has consistently resolved our issues without surgical intervention. Clinic itself is well organised, clean and efficient with an in-house X ray facility and a very competent X ray technician.

Dr Shankar attended to my son who had fractured his hand while in the US and flew down to Bangalore especially to be under his treatment and care. The finesse of the surgery was well appreciated by the Doctors in the US, when he went for review and implant removal. Thanks to Dr Shankar, he is today back to his favourite sport badminton. I had a knee injury while playing cricket and ACL tear happened. Dr Srinivasan and team diagnosed and suggested ACL surgery.
